Jessica Hester is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience in nursing and pain management. She currently sees patients at The Center for Pain clinics in Alabama, where she provides thoughtful, evidence-based care to individuals managing acute and chronic pain conditions.

Jessica earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama. She began her career as a registered nurse at Brookwood Medical Center, working in progressive care, cardiovascular surgical units, and post-anesthesia care. This solid clinical foundation has informed her holistic, team-based approach to patient care.

Since 2014, Jessica has served as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with West Alabama Spine and Pain Specialists, where she played an instrumental role in patient care, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives. She continues her work with that same dedication as part of The Center for Pain team, emphasizing patient education, functional recovery, and long-term wellness.

Jessica is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has also served as a MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System) leader, reflecting her commitment to quality and performance in healthcare.
