Shanavia is a family nurse practitioner, board – certified by AANP. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Montgomery in 2015 and her graduate degree from Troy University in 2024. Prior to joining the Center for Pain in November of 2024, she worked as a registered nurse at Fresenius Kidney Care in Prattville as a dialysis nurse; and at Azura Vascular Center in Montgomery as an outpatient surgery nurse.  She started her nursing career in 2015 at Baptist South working in the medical intensive care unit. Shanavia enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids.
